That's a lot of really interesting words that does show that cotton cloth filters some percent of nanoparticles which yeah no shit but it doesn't matter when the exhaled and inhaled air GOES AROUND the masks. Maybe if the mask was taped on it would work. And there's actual RCTs that shows cloth masks don't protect the wearer from covid- you know actual SCIENCE instead of measuring something else as a proxy.
Masks would protect from covid if covid mainly spread through fomites (which are large enough that momentum should keep them going straight into the masks) but fomites don't seem to be a significant vector for covid- and if it was it would only work if people didn't touch their mask but they do. Everyone just grabs the mask out of their back pocket, sticks it on, walks in the store, touches shit, walks out having deposited their mask fomites in the store and then takes off the mask picking up foreign fomites on their hand and then touch their face. I'm so tired of this inane mask shit.
And furthermore people fucking know the air goes around, they are like "you can't blow out a flame wearing a mask" yeah no shit, if I could I would actually think there is some point to cloth masks. Blow as hard as you can you won't ever make a flame even flutter- BECAUSE THE AIR IS GOING OUT THE TOP AND SIDES!
Yep, everything you're saying is decade's old data that was discovered in peer reviewed studies about how... masks don't work against influenza (unless it has a sealant and purifiers):
