The choice is with the parents in the end. I've not allowed my kids free access to any form of media, ever since the gender stuff started being pushed on kids my wife and I curate any cartoon or show that the kids watch, granted our oldest is 6 but hopefully we can keep it up in the long run, up until they can form their own ideas in a critical fashion.
Do you have them watch older stuff? There's so much great stuff out there from Nickelodeon from the mid 90's to the mid to late 00's. Even adults can enjoy a lot of it. It's just normal stuff. You don't have to worry about the characters struggling with being gay or trooning out. It was so much simpler and so much less disgusting back then.

I also have Thundercats, some Batman, X-men, Pirates of Dark Water and other old cartoons.
This are set up on a NAS, sometimes we allow cartoons from streaming platforms but we first check a few episodes just to be sure.
