I've read a couple of articles where someone regretted transitioning they were really depressed from a multiple of reasons. It has been a while, but if I remember correctly he got fired, wife left him and a few other things.
Read some guy's account of life after surgery and it was the only time I've ever even thought about suicide; I've blocked out the details but just the daily routine he had to do to not be septic or whatever was soul crushing just to read about.
People think the 50%-ish suicide rate is the sign of mental illness... but no, that's the most sane decision they've made in the whole process.
I read it too... The idea of doing that, every day... No thank you! I'm sure if I ever did that, I would forget about having to do it and die. Quoting Richard Hammond, if I were a woman, and had to take the pill every day... Suffice to say, I would be pregnant a lot!
