I'm inclined to agree, but I think we should try banning normies from it first and see if that resolves the issue.

Absolutely this. The internet was awesome when it was just nerds and had a technical barrier- helped filter out the idiots. The worst thing that happened was to allow normies to broadcast their stupidity to other normies and find consensus.

Remove internet access from phones and I guarantee 90% of the fuckwits that ruined it will disappear.
