I feel the same way. Alibi's holograms were obviously not something you can build in reality - even if you could project an image up into the air, that image could only be brighter and not darker than the wall behind it - but Iana has all the same problems while also adding the stupidity of a hologram that can operate independently of its projector, and transmit information back to Iana from that ephemeral image.
