I do not think we have to worry about this one. The mortality rate is to high. A low mortality rate virus like Covid is perfect for mass control without casualties.

A high mortality rate needs to be taken care fast or the dead bodies stack, the proof would be to much and those in power will look incompetent.

COVID is the virus of virtue signaling, may as well call it Virtue Signaling Virus, something that does next to nothing but it is used to superficially increase status among peers, by trusting SCIENCE™ and left-wing authoritarianism. Is the inexact nature of the virus and the inability to properly measure the effect of lockdowns that allows those in power to do what ever the fuck they want.
