Let's just say that I don't wish to give them any chances whatsoever, because everyone who does has a weird habit of finding a knife in their back.
Sure, consistent bad luck will make anyone feel like that. But that coin has to land heads eventually. The fact that almost no one else here feels as strongly as you do makes the probability theory more plausible.
Again, I think it's just really bad luck you've had.

It was something along the lines of I don't see the point in giving them chances when there's literally zero to gain and so much to lose.
