Holding a sign take no skill at all, hence the minimal pay.

The first message exchange is reasonable, logical, and straightforward.

$15/hour is the effective current minimum wage - aka what you can get almost anywhere.
This job has the additional requirement of owning a car (expensive) but pays the same.

Why would it make sense to take this job that pays effectively less than other jobs?
