You're kind of right.
They're not the norm biologically. They've always existed, sure, through a confluence of brain chemistry outliers and individual circumstances (childhood abuse?). Most women, as you know, want to continue the normal biological rhythm of humanity.
But these kids are bombarded from an early age with "sex positivity" and all the malignant notions that come from that. Sex immediately loses its value and gets warped. Young girls get hooked up to immediate and constant validation via social media, and that turns into a slutty lifestyle and a lack of understanding of what sex and love is supposed to be.
It's a really deep topic that I could go on and on about, but I won't do that here.
It's r/K breeding theory in action, honestly...
I don’t see anything on the page you linked on how this theory applies to mating strategies
Yeah, I noticed that, but let's think about it a minute. Who is more likely to stay together; a couple that invests heavily in the raising of their offspring, or two people just fucking like bunnies to have as many babies as possible.
And a quick side note, I realize that most women (and men) today aren't having sex to have kids, but the offspring thing still applies, as our instincts/DNA don't exactly understand things like birth control, lol.
A big part of it is that they’re also often put on mind, and, and body altering drugs such as birth control at very young ages. That’s a negative withholding even the fact that it makes having casual sex early and often with whoever the fuck more acceptable and with less possible long term consequences. This all changes everything immensely IMHO.
You really shouldn’t go on about it. You don’t know what you are talking about. All women are like that since the beginning of time. They are just as well behaved or not as the men around them allow them to be.
I'm sure the sex is fine, It's that it's like a bad movie with great effects. It looks appealing, and you might enjoy a moment or two, but you don't really care about the people involved, so it doesn't really satisfy you.
I know I know, " muh capeshit," but it's the best example I can think of. Compare the first Avengers movie to the Tom cruise Mummy Abomination.
The characters in the avengers have already been set up, so you're already invested in them to some degree or another, and the action scenes are reasonably well paced, and the slow points take the time they need without dragging things out. Far from perfect, but entertaining and you enjoy watching it. This is essentially what a good relationship is like. You actually care about the other person, so you're trying to please them as well as yourself. The emotional fulfillment is better than the sex.
With the Mummy movie, the effects are pretty good, the sets are impressive, but the action is stale, the characters are barely set up when they're actually set up, and by the end of it, you're disappointed when the main character doesn't die at the end, and not just because he's played by Tom cruise. This is your one night stand, an excuse to cut to the exciting stuff with no real appreciation or caring for anyone but yourself and what you can get out of it.
