As one of the few people who genuinely liked it, the entire post SS ruined it for me. I really didn't like their Harley Quinn, and she was the only part they kept bringing back and focusing on.
Fuck Birds of Prey. Give me Croc and Boomerang's misadventures to find Diablo.
Harley was the main reason I was hesitating to watch this film. The Margot Robbie version has been insufferable, and I didn’t even bother to watch Birds of Prey at all. Heard it’s garbage vomit trash.
But I heard some better things about this one so I checked it out, and while it’s still the same Harley, she is at least toned down and not the main focus of everything. Plus the Dictator/Bird scene was legitimately fitting for her character. Wasn’t terrible!

Saddest thing to realize is we will never get true Harley. Now we're stuck with the tatted up drug slut version.
They rolled that back for the new SS. BoP showed them that nobody actually wants Trailer Park Twinky Harley.
Funny, because Margot Robbie was one of two Aussies in it, and even I think she was a shitty miscasting...
Then again, aside from some weird "patriotic loyalty", I've never been a fan, really...
She was decent in "Focus", but fucking awful as Queen Elizabeth I, so eh, I guess it almost balances out, hey!
