All I will say about this one (yes, it's a couple of months old, but the situation hasn't changed as much as I might have thought/hoped, quite honestly..) is that I hate my generation, I hate this timeline, I hate my country (in this case, Aus, not the UK, though... Also that.), and I fucking despise the BBC...
Like fuck, I thought the national broadcasters down here were too far up their own propaganda-pushing arses, but this..? This takes the fucking cake, lol...
Defund the fuckers, and give the people back that sweet, sweet TV licence money. Clearly it isn't being used for anything of value, after all!!
Nobody should take this article at face value. It may or may not be true, but ultimately it’s about signaling to young people that all the hip kids are doing it, because young people tend to be more susceptible to such trends.
The hot, new thing that young people want in Australia right now? It's not the latest Yeezy sneakers or an iPhone - it's a Covid vaccine, preferably the much coveted Pfizer .For many millennials, the vaccine represents protection for their parents, an ability to resume travel and a step toward the new normal.
The enthusiasm from many younger Australians contrasts heavily with their parents' generation - where hesitancy toward the jab has become a major problem, experts say. ---Young and dumb. Yeezy stuff shows poor, poor taste. Apple, I don't know about the tech, but they're a horrible company. So much for funding ethically produced stuff. Kids are sheep. They should listen more to their parents.
I mean literally yes. That is quite literally what is happening, only it is on all three levels of government: city (fairly powerless, but can make by-laws banning individuals from doing stuff), state (can literally destroy your life, if it so pleases), and federal (let's not even go there)...
It's quite scary. I've never seen anything quite like it, here, and I've been "awake" to the nefarious goings-on of the bureaucracy of this island shithole for some years, now, lol... :-/

Its always "experts say this experts say that" . No its people with(stupid) opinions say that. what are they "expertising" in exactly besides propagating the party lines.
Of course not, because there is no "war on staph", and that doesn't break down across tribal/party lines, lol...
It's fairly hard to demonise the "staph in nose carriers" as opposed to the great unvaxxed, especially as the whole point of MRSA is that it is antibiotic resistant, so vax or no vax is completely beside the point, even leaving the political bullshit out of it, lol...
Fucking sad this is where we are at, though. I was actually thinking exactly the same as what you said, earlier, but about antibiotic-resistant TB...
But see also: suicide. Rates (both attempts and successful) are up, and they a) don't care, and b) are running interference, to say the opposite...
My alma mater (in Australia) literally published the "world leading" paper that "disproves" that suicides have gone up... It is literally all lies. There's a Sydney Watson video on it. So... It's so much worse than just ignoring all the ACTUALLY LETHAL diseases out there. We are actually KILLING people, with lockdowns, travel bans, visitation bans and the like, and those in charge literally could not give less of a shit...
Just look at NSW "Chief Health Officer" (dictator) Kerry Chant, as someone else posted here, weeks back: "Don't stop and talk to your neighbours at the supermarket. That could kill you."
Seriously, how bad is that going to be for social cohesion, let alone for mental health, when we are turning friendly neighbours against each other..??
This doesn't end well. We know that. TPTB know that. It's just a question of whether society wakes up to that fact before it is too late... :-/

Sounds like you're threatening people who don't want the jab, Australian government

Daily reminder that 2% of the population has MRSA in their nostrils and almost nobody outside of a hospital cares.
