Oh no, how will this impact my favorite games?

...Is what I would have said fifteen years ago. Activizzard has been a shambling corpse for a while. Story-wise, Brood Wars was their last notable triumph. W3 was alright, but even there you could see the start of the downfall.

SC1 had awesome writing. Nobody can take that away.

I'm still not over the fact of that guy who found the source code and returned it. We could have openSC by now.
