What's relevent is how big an audience wants to see them play. The bigger a stadium you can fill, the more pay-per-views and TV subscriptions, the more ad revenue you can generate... that is what makes athletes rich.

U15. Pretty sure that means 13 and 14 years olds too(I think, depending on the rules, U15 can also include 15 year olds)
