It’s more likely they’ll be vaccinated in Ireland than here. We have strong religious protection laws and nearly every state has a law outlining religious exemption to vaccination.
Though I don’t know how many Google employees are religious or would think to use it.
I live in Ireland, vaccines aren’t mandatory here in any way. No employers are able to mandate that workers have to get it, and the government only advises people get it. There’s actually been a fairly low uptake in the number of under 30s signing up for the vaccine.
Honestly a lot of google employees are based in India or Ireland, I doubt you can get them to vaccinate.
I assume they plan on having the US offices to mandate vaccinations but who knows.
Still is a big thing if it happens. I wonder if it affects all those working from home.
