What I'm finding interesting trawling through the F1 subreddit today is that because nobody died it's fine. That's the line many are taking that what happened was "just rivalry" and every other insane excuse that is being put out there, often multiple times like NPC reading/marching orders appear on social media.
"Nobody died, it's fine!"
JFC Verstappen is lucky to have brain function after that kind of crash.
Be real though, a crash like this happens nearly 25% of races.
Ya Hamilton probably should get a bigger penalty, but it wasn't THAAAT bad.
Hamilton is trying to catch up to Verstappen's points by driving harder, since Redbull has done so well with their car this year, and Mercedes struggled with the rule changes.
They already are driving at the absolute limit of the cars/driving ability, and he crossed the line.
FYI I am a Redbull fan and want to see Verstappen finally take Mercedes off their endless wins.
