seeing the COVID cases are about what they've been for the last few months

My multicounty area of the world didn't even break 50 total cases until November of last year. And then we only had a spike because one guy infected his entire workplace after a business trip. A medical professional at that.

Yet we still were forced into the lockdowns and people treated it like the world was ending.
