Bryan Lunduke's famous Linux Sucks this year is him forecasting the end of linux in the near future, possibly to be replaced by Google's proprietary Fuchsia. They call it open source, but the code is only available to see. You can't use it and having the source publicly available actually makes it easier for Gulag to sue.
