The ending rendition of "Space...the final froniter," from the last episode is pretty poignant, too. It really felt like the end of an era, especially in hindsight.
Like seriously, how could you think it was a good idea making the series finale focus on 2 characters from a different show that ended a decade before pretending to be 11 yrs younger while looking 15 yrs older? And on top of that have a popular main character die in a lame way after you tell people in advance the character is going to die?
And then have the final scene with the series' actual cast be "Wow, what an awesome inspiring [unseen] speech you just gave!"
Dislike the show all you want (and while I haven't seen every episode I know much of that is valid) but the cast who worked their butts off for 5 yrs deserved a proper send-off.
Don't get me wrong, I think that it was a terrible episode, and the cast definitely deserved better. It's a shame that Enterprise was cancelled, when it hit its stride. Enterprise wasn't the best Star Trek show, but I enjoy all pre-Discovery Star Trek.

Yeah, but episode 22 was fucking terrible and I prefer to never think of it ever again.
That was the only good part of the whole episode.
