The only possible outcome to this is that the rich kids will get tutors or be put in private schools that give them these advanced courses. If that was the only difference then the rich kids will get ahead in life because they have an education that doesn't hold them back. This just compounds more and more ways for kids with wealthy parents to get ahead and there's nothing wrong with that, because if you are a parent you should get the best that you can for your kids.
All this does is say to the poor but smart kids that you are going to get fucked over and you'll stay down with the rest of them.
I even saw a couple of morons talking about how they can just do after school classes and tutoring but they'd need the budget for it.
And I laughed because for one you'd need to make kids want to stay after school to learn more, instead you'd barely get anyone because the smart kids already know they are wasting hours every day of their life learning stuff at a slow pace, why would they want to spend more hours just to get ahead of their classmates when they won't be allowed to do anything about it.
It's glorious how they keep trying to force this broken system to work when after decades of repeated failures any reasonable person would have told them to stop it.
