I used to frequent a certain weather tracker website to get accurate 48 hour forecasts; now I go there once in a while just to see how wrong they are for amusement. Every other site would have us at, say, 86 degrees for example. That tracker would have us at 92.
One time we had rain in the evening. Their hourly forecast called for no rain...and then right when it started...BAM they change the forecast for the following hour to "80% chance of rain." I've lost count of the number of times they forecast a 90%+ chance of rain for nearly a week ahead of time...and then the day before it happens, they change it to 30%. And of course, no rain.
I used to have the weather channel app. Would at least notify me of rain about 15 minutes in advance. But now all the notifications I got were about climate change and how we’re all doomed to the point I deleted the app.
Makes me want to write a “it’s just the weather” app…
They can't even predict the weeks weather.
They can't even predict the afternoon weather.
