I bought her book and love her YouTube channel but she wears way too much makeup. She's like those South Korean girls who get plastic surgery, but dialed up to 11. I'm guessing because she was deprived of that option in the North.

Book is definitely recommended, though there are good books by other defectors too.
That's Korean women in general, gotta cover any age spots, laugh lines or blemishes. Even their men take insane measures to look younger and have great skin....also world capitol for plastic surgery and she's got them bolt on tiddy's.
