I will be, despite how many female "influencers" will likely show up. Epic will be there, maybe they'll announce something exciting soon. Probably just "Fall Guys is on Xbox now!" though.
I hope there's a new racing game IP, but I doubt it. EA now own nearly all of them, so I'm pretty fucked. Thanks Take-2, you could have prevented this.
New Series X|S exclusives have to be coming, right? I've had this thing for so long and nothing new has come out for it, just remasters of old games.
What's everyone else hoping for?
I'm not watching that no, the whole edifice of hyping games is one of the slimiest shittiest things I can imagine.
Did you think Microsoft were going to suddenly have a load of exclusives when you bought it? Why?
I'm not getting of these so called next gen consoles for a few years at least, which means I'm probably not getting one...it's the shoddiest gen so far imo...the whole thing is just meh.
New consoles aren't interesting anymore because they're just standardized PCs. Used to be when one launched you got to hear about the interesting features of the console that made it unique. Now it's just "well we picked this off-the-shelf GPU architecture and this off-the-shelf x64 architecture and slapped them on one chip."
I find it kind of fun, if you understand that what you're being shown is marketing and likely not representative of what the actual game is.
I was expecting there to at least be exclusives by now. When they said none at release, I thought they meant a few months away, not over a year.
I'd rather just wait for the games to come out and then get interested, you'll just spend your life waiting like that.
Microsoft doesn't seem to think it needs exclusives does it? All that being said I can't support Sony anymore, they are a terrible company, shit films, shit politics. So I'll probably get one when I do...it might have some games by then.
Ehh, I like the surprise of seeing the new thing without knowing. It's an emotional roller coaster.
Yeah, that was my thought process too. Maybe I should have got a PS5 used instead. They actually have exclusives.
THIS; the only correct take. People need to stop getting excited about stuff that hasn't been released yet. How many times do people need to get burned to stop putting their hands in the fire? DRM, MTX post-release, dropped support, bugs out the ass. Even the failure of the golden child- Cyberpunk 2077, doesn't seem to have curbed peoples' expectations for new releases.
I might not be educated enough to buy Battlefield V, but at least I can learn to not make the same mistakes over and over.
