I can't figure a world where Kingmaker is better in anyway then NWN2 or DOS2. I can only assume you've not played this games. If you can stomach the graphic from NWN2, I do recommend it and with the MotB expansion, is has a great story, great characters and no SJW stuff in it.

its a matter of the systems they employ. Neither NWN2 nor DOS2 allow such a breadth of options and possibilities of making a character and custom companions as Kingmaker
