And how many of the OG GG’s have now bent the knee?
Enough that I'm still laughing at the "no leaders!" original GG movement's worship of ecelebs.
Almost every single one either backstabbed or disappeared. Being proven right makes it almost less awful how far we have fallen.
Ironically, Sargon, for all his faults, is pretty much the last of the OG GG's. He's still around fighting the good fight.
He went out and tried to be an actual politician and make changes beyond the internet. I can respect that even if he is riddled with flaws and idiocy of his own.
Most of the rest either openly sided with their "Leftism" over the culture war (gotta love those "one of the good ones, sensible Leftists"), or devolved into internet bloodsports.
And these days he runs Lotus Eaters which, whilst having various Sargonisms, is a useful weapon in our arsenal. Sargon actually has built a small media empire that is self sustaining.
Don't think Metokur ever managed that.
