It was a truly terrible movie, and yet I see tons of people defending it online. Sad.

They need to like it because it’s all that is available. The storyline of the original film was far superior. The clunky ness of just uninspired writing was barely hidden by the “Wow” moments and fights. The iconic shots and design of the original movie created a mystical island whereas the new one made me feel like each shot was cheap.
