Going off my cancer meds next week! Best news ever.
Diagnosed in the ER last March with metastatic breast cancer and nearly died. Cooped up in the rioting burning and Seattle coof lockdowns just days later.
Doc said today it looked so good now we're going to discontinue the stuff for the time being. Thank fucking god, cancer meds aren't for sissies.
I get my life back! And if it goes well we.are.outta.here. Praise god and hello Montana.
Congratulations! I know we've probably argued a bit here, but I'm genuinely happy for your recovery.
My mother had it, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Yeah it was so hard on my kids, it looked bad for a while. The most heartbreaking part of it was the thought of leaving my kids without a mother (even though they're in their thirties). My mother was a crazy crackpot but she was the only mother I had and I miss her.
You a grandma?
Sadly no. Both of my kids are avowed non-reproducers and I am an only child. This is the end of the line for my entire maternal family side. I don't expect to ever see a grandchild. :(
