While awaiting the results of RCTs of vitamin D for prevention of COVID-19 currently underway, Ontarians should follow current Canadian recommendations for vitamin D intake and supplementation for general bone health.
So even if it won't help you one way, it'll still help you another way. Just be mindful of how much you take and take a safe amount (duh). The stuff is dirt cheap as well so it's one of those "It doesn't hurt" sorta deals. And hey, you even improve your bone health!
And the risks of taking Vitamin D are known compared to the vaccines as well. You can control the dosage you take and you won't be left to all these unknowns that might screw you over in the long run.
