Most people would have the moral impetus to stop a child predator, but if you tried to stop a corrupt prosecutor, they'd just use the exact same power they already use against the predator to stop you. "If you're trying to take away my power, you must be a bad guy!" And who pays enough attention to who gets put away and why to begin with?
