You know what? Let's thought-experiment that he's right in that some measures need to be taken.

We should pre-emptively arrest and investigate the people statistically most likely to be mass shooters, and let them know that the Mark Vaillancourt rule, made by Mark Vaillancourt, is responsible for their unjust and random detainment. Per-capita, black males between 13 and 40 are, by an uncontestable margin, the most likely to be mass shooters, so in the name of notable racist Mark Vaillancourt, we should detain them all for Mark Vaillancourt's mental safety.

Or do you think Mark may, perhaps, fail at statistics, research, criminal data reading, and anything approximating sociology or math?
