Dem Politicians: Oh sorry best we can do is give billions to green boondoggles run by friends, while also just generally shitting up the energy grid with bad policies.
Dem Voters: Oh, shit, you said climate change was killing us tho!?
Dem Politicians: Uh, it's the Republicans fault! Dem Voters: I knew it!
