I’m self employed and innumerable people vital to my income have all said the same thing regarding me being vaccinated. One upside is that I’m also on HRT so I can feel like pretty much anything I’d want during and after it. There’s no ‘I was rendered infertile or gained weight’ or anything for me, I’ll be riding high the whole time so there’s at least that. I may very well not get too many more years with my parents, who are very old, and if it’s them dying alone and me being financially black listed vs the risk, it’s a sad decision to make but the one I’ve unfortunately made.
If there is another one though, or some other attempt, or anything like making a vaccine passport, I’m faking every single one going forward without remorse. Lockdown people for a year and cause riots and get all the buy in, and I’m pressed against the wall on what I can do with it. Pretend we have to do this every year and I’ll die on the hill with you guys. I’m not doing that shit.
As for the people that don’t know any better, I do see their side of it. The vaccines will slow/stop/protect people against the virus. At least better and more directly than anything else. My disagreement isn’t over whether they work, which is their main concern, but whether any of this was at all needed outside of providing it to the vulnerable.
For me, this is simple. This is the hill to fight on.
How many people like you will be peer pressured into getting this vaccine that is based on experimental technology that has not finished testing for long term side effects?
I am certain that this will not be a one-off attempt.
As more and more people comply, the ruling elite will be emboldened to push more and more tyranny on us. Vaccine passports and a social credit system are next.
We should all be free to make our own decisions when it comes to health.
This vaccine peer pressure is merely the start of unspeakable authoritarianism.

I do see where you are coming from.
