I live in a blue city. It’s a foregone conclusion literally everywhere here that you will be getting vaccinated. Coming out with even mild concerns or hesitation is enough to ostracize you completely from family, friends, and coworkers. It’s the most social pressure and coercion I’ve ever experienced, and it is utterly crushing. I’m honestly more depressed than I’ve ever been.

I am also currently stuck in a area that is atleast 25 percent more blue than red and I still am not going take this experimental vaccine.
Yes there is tons of social pressure but both my parents agree with me so I don't care about anyone else.
Since the election I have been ostracized already by the "friends" I had here and I don't care any more what these retards think.
I already told my coworkers I am allergic to the vaccine. I then used the current media trend of stop Asian hate to stop them pestering me.
I just do my job and focus on myself.
This is not a glamorous life but this is the life I lead for having strong principles and sticking to them.
