Their donuts suck, as with most American pastry really. It's just sugar overload. There's so much damn sugar glaze on those the inside could be a turd and you'd never taste it. Go eat a cinnamon roll in about any generic cafe somewhere like Sweden and you won't want to touch the American choices of Krispy Kreme or Chinese-run generic old grease fried donuts ever again.
I guess all these fat people better get their vaccine since they can't be bothered with their health. I saw a WuFlu fearist just yesterday claim "we all are eligible for the vaccine because of obesity from all the pounds we've put on in the last year." Am I the only one who's lost weight and improved my health in this mess?
Consider baking your own desserts. The sky's pretty much the limit. My family never eats premade or from a mix desserts. I use high quality ingredients and cut the sugar to usually around half what the recipes call for. When my children tasted other people's baking they say "all I can taste is the sugar!".
And before you wonder if I am one of those crunchy 'these cookies are gluten free egg free and sweetened with applesauce' sorts...no. The desserts and sweet treats I make are delicious. You simply don't need as much sugar as most of us are accustomed to, to make things taste good.
