From my understanding about the Paris Agreement, "developing countries" are exempt. One of those "developing countries" is the one making everyone's products, and about to (if not already) rule the world.
The Paris Agreement (that Trudeau is so adamant about, as well as Agenda 2030) is a penalty on anyone that wants to make their product outside China, regardless of the fact that by doing so, it would likely be more environmentally friendly, and be done with stronger worker rights. Trudeau doesn't care though. He's a CCP puppet that will keep increasing the cost of Carbon "until the behavior changes," as he already has done multiple times when more than 50% (of remaining) companies don't think they'll make it through the year.
The WEF's "Shareholder Capitalism" first requires removing the "capital from capitalism," and moving all power to the State & international (unelected) bodies, and this move that goal closer.
