The Democrats have alienated Asian-Americans with policies like affirmative action for years.

COVID comes along and despite the media trying to play up violence against Asians early on, it fizzled out because nothing was really happening. But somehow now, two years after COVID hit the US, it's all about Asians being attacked because of it and how the Democrats will protect them with legislation. Now that a Democrat is president and they need to be able to push their regressive policies without Asians calling them out for it.

And people are going to fall for it.
