I disagree with him that every man has been physically assaulted by an adult woman, but using a strict definition of the term, I'd bet that it's well over half.

When I was maybe 11-12 years old, my Mom was upset with me and lost her cool, and she shoved me into the wall. There happened to be a radiator there so it hurt pretty bad. She apologized and that's the only time she ever put her hands on me besides spanking me when I was really young.

I've had two girlfriends who tried to hurt my physically, pathetic as their attempts were haha. One of them even grabbed a knife and threatened to kill herself. This was after she tried to punch me.

Most of my buddies have at least one similar story. Women generally seem think it's okay to physically assault men, or they just can't control their anger.
