Cars are the exact antithesis of what these people want. Having a car will be seen as a unacceptable luxury that promotes classism and individualism, eroding the progress of glorious revolutionary action.
If people are allowed to drive wherever they want, they may start to try and think whatever they want. And that's racist.
I don't believe Noah has any intention of allowing cars as you and I imagine them. He is a clever progressive that can always see where power is shifting, and the commie train obsession is outmoded. The progressive future is self-driving Uber electric that will always have a stranger in the passenger seat to hedge against thoughtcrimes. Travel will only be allowed to approved destinations.
Yes this exactly. At some point it will likely be illegal to own a non-automatic car. They will say oh it's for reducing auto accidents. Either that or they will increase the price exponentially and make the automatic option as cheap as possible.
