Google does all of this as well, and much, much worse. I'm sure that if Mozilla had the influence Google does, they'd do the same things, but they don't.
Also Firefox is the only browser that can do vertical nested tabs right now, and I'm so used to that I can't imagine going back to the standard. I'm sure the geniuses at Mozilla will kill that eventually in their neverending quest to become a Chromium knockoff, but until then I'm keeping Firefox as my main browser. I hate it, but that's clown world for ya.
Mozilla is way more radical than Google. They created an addon to censor Youtube because they don't think Google censors enough. And they call for more deplatforming because they don't think even the most censorious social media platforms do enough.
Plus, Google just develops the Chromium framework. Browser developers like Brave ultimately decide the end product. Unlike Mozilla who directly use their power to determine which news their users see or which political popups get shown in the browser.
