Everyone ready for March 8th? I predict I'll be adding a lot more companies to my boycott list, the only acceptable amount of feminism to see from a company I give money to is zero.
I'm planning a post going over a year of their bullshit and suggesting how to move forward, but real life commitments might make it come late. (Yes, I do have a job, I'm not paid to shill an anti-woman narrative like some have accused. No, I don't work for Epic.)
Edit :
Rocket League is now no longer installed on my console. Shame. I was enjoying it.
Worst day of the year for me. I take the day off work and avoid everything in the hope of getting away from their narrative at it's strongest. Usually spend it checking over my boycott lists and updating them, just to make sure I'm ready for the next year of Nazis pretending they aren't Nazis. I take the whole "don't fund your enemy" thing to an extreme.
I don't know why I have to say this, but you probably need to find an actual hobby or something. I literally never notice when "National Woman's Day" is. You're hyper-focusing on it.
As much as I think TheImpossible1 beats the drum too damn hard, I have to be entirely fair. I only know it's coming because my current employer IS making a deal out of it. Some staff have posters up (I have to cut the data retention policy because we have no budget to increase capacity despite a half-dozen new VMs coming online but someone's paying to get commemorative posters graphic-designed and printed). I can't quite give details without doxxing myself, but they just announced they'll be having a seminar next week which includes an "empowering women climate action" box. No details on what's in the box other than a t-shirt for the woman in charge and "activities" for 5-10 girls.
I would probably consider getting a job with a different company before your destroys itself (which it's on the way to doing making fiscal decisions like that).
