I live in Texas and am surprised by the people upset about this. A lot of businesses will probably still require masks. Honestly the main problem is that they have scared people for so long with the hysteria that now they think masks save them from everything.
Of course there are people saying “but he isn’t following the science!”
Honestly If you can’t see that the virus will spread regardless of lockdowns or masks. If you are high risk take further precautions
The whole thing they show with a vape is what I always thought about them. It's just simple physics really. Things that flow go the path of least resistance always. Hell, if I was a physics professor I'd have a test question something like given the forces holding a mask on each side is 1ft-lb or whatever, how much pressure can build up inside the mask before the seal is broken? After which I'd be a former physics professor.
I'm so tired of sheep that not only do they not question things, but they tell me I also am not allowed to question things. I've questioned things since I could talk (yes, my granddad even used to joke about it when I was really little) and I will question them until I die. Even if the cost of those questions is going to be an accelerated death.
The thing is when someone's response is "trust me, I'm an expert on this" when questioned that just makes it worse. I'm an engineer, you want to question my designs, I will sit down and whiteboard the stuff. I have nothing to hide. I even hope you find something I missed, because guess what then I get to make it better! Why would I not want it done better? I guess because I'm not getting political kickbacks.
