The pill and IVF are two big causes. Allows them to "remain unattached" for so long that when even nature says "hey you ducked around for too long", science can say "it's cool bruh, we gotchu".

If men had the same option of say based surrogate mothers, or vat grown babies, I guarantee men would be out of relationships far more. (not say ng this is better, both aspects ruin the inter human nature)

They claim its "just easier" to harvest and bank sperm than it is eggs, but this is just another gynocentric aspect of modern biological science.

It's also how third world nations can also have dying birth rates, it won't all be down to men choosing to opt out, but also a combination of antipregnancy aids and peak population already thanks to longer human life.

So we have large populations in small areas, delayed pregnancies, extended lives (and of those extended lives, many are unproductive/pointless regards birth but still consume the same resources). Birth rates fall because of science.

Women are good for a lot more than just babies, just as men aren't good at absolutely everything humans can do.

The male nature is competitive, aggressive, driven, and systemizing. It views the world in terms of its component parts. Resources, threats, goals, and tasks.

The female nature other hand is all about cooperation, nurturing, coalition building, and emotional validation. It views the world in terms of the connections between people, emotions and communication, and ensuring needs are met on more than just an immediate tangible level.

Both of these are necessary for a healthy society, and for a healthy individual. An insufficency or excess of either is dysfunctional.

You see this with children. Mothers stand between their children and new people or things, men stand behind them once it's established there's no threat. The cliche mother says "don't hang from the monkeybars like that, it's too high". The cliche father says "If you fall that's going to hurt".

In a healthy balance the mother knows to give her children warnings but allow them to make their own mistakes, and the father knows when they fall to first offer comfort and security and then when they calm down tell them they're a dumbass and know better for next time. In an unhealthy balance the mother smothers her child, and the father callously tells them to get over it.
