Is it just me or does Twitch artificially promote female streamers?

I got a new Twitch account to get the drops from watching a stream, and I just noticed all the suggestions for it are female streamers with sub 10k viewers, playing games I don't care about.

Recommendations are based on "interactions" and not total viewers. Since Simps are there to Simp, e-thots have more "interactions" than other streamers.

You could argue that it was made this way to support e-thots and I'd agree with you. Twitch is a soft core porn website now.
