Not gonna lie, was one of the lucky people to get power back at 11 PM, roughly an hour and a half after i somehow fell asleep between a wall of old bathrobes/blankets against my window and one little dog covered in a new fluffy as all hell bathrobe, still fully dressed with a coat on, but holy fuck it was miserable once the sun went down.
I can't blame people for getting upset but holy hell checking my phone and seeing people bitching about refunds and stuff, and people trying to blame left or right (at least the right had the shit about frozen wind turbines)
Oh yeah, I have no doubt it's brutal. I went through it a couple times as a kid. It's just like you said though, the second I went online looking around it's "fuck <insert politician here>" or bitching about how they should be compensated.
