There are Southerners whose ancestors fought in the Civil War who show more respect for statues of Union leaders, and that was 150 years ago. In fact I'd go so far to say that if a Southerner flipped off the Lincoln Memorial Weinstein and his buddies would think it rather uncouth and disrespectful.
That tweet says more about Weinstein and his mental state than any of the so-called "extremists" he's lambasting.
