This is the sort of thing one should expect to happen when one "reaches out" to left-wing populists: they always want support from the right, but only if they can solve the problem their way.

The idea that two sides can come together to fight a common cause, then both sides fuck off and go do their own things in peace, seems to be completely foreign.
