I'm Catholic, not libertarian. People should be free to do what they ought, not what they want.
Your side lost that argument fifty years ago.
Our constitution as construed today is that people should be free, fullstop, no oughts or wants.
Your only recourse is secession and reformation under a constitution that is more explicit about it does not consider to be rights.
