Another forum member made this room. I dont know anything about matrix or how secure it is. But in light of what is going down it makes sense to have as many options for communication as we can.

Regarding the mobile app - which one? There's more than one since Matrix is an open standard. I hear good things about Element. https://element.io/

Don't get me wrong, I think Matrix/Element is probably the way forward at this point, but beware that encryption can be fussy at times which would lead to messages becoming lost to "unable to decrypt" errors. Just a heads up.
