That started on about November 6th or so after things started to sink in. I haven't participated over there much or even looked there much. The discussion, of lack thereof, had gotten so rough. It really was looking like an echo chamber to me.
Now, they don't want to give up because they know what's next, and it seems that Trump decided it was time to cut bait. The idea that he was going to stay in office no matter what should have stayed with the nutcases of the left that thought he was a dictator. He's just a fierce competitor, and with it being so close and looking like fraud, he was going to fight. It's no different than the coach that makes a referee spend ten minutes reviewing a game to get 2 seconds back on the clock. Those two seconds might matter and you don't quit until time runs out. Time has run out.
I do hope the site sticks around in some form or fashion and that some of the sanity eventually returns. During the early days of the virus nuttiness when everything blew up and I was cut off, that site was the only place I could go at the time where I didn't feel like I was totally isolated merely for questioning things. Everywhere else I was at the time it didn't matter the conclusion you may come to, do not in any way think for yourself.
Unfortunately, it's time to move on. Things are going to suck for a while. I'm of the opinion a different election outcome would have only delayed that being the case. I'd have happily taken the delay, but it's not in the cards it seems.
