For now I'm working on the treaty of a late 19th century Italian nobleman from my town, he was basically advocating for an educated and politically active populace to curb the power of "robber barons" and "the rapacious church" back in the 1860s! Something which is honestly still super relevant today (except our rapacious church is noth just the Catholic Church, but mainly the Church of the Woke)When basically everyone else here thought that peasants weren't really people, just lesser beings.
