I've been a lot less agitated since I quit going on there. I killed my account and really just see links occasionally anymore.

Twitter was the first of places where I saw things get so polarized. I've been bitching about the "Court of Twitter" since at least 2014. It's designed around limiting discussion and forcing you to make hot takes, so I guess I should have never been surprised.
